Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches that make rugby easier to understand without talking down to the reader. Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option.
What we welcome
Pitch an original explainer on a law, phase, position, match format or tactical choice. Strong ideas begin with a specific moment or question a curious viewer might have, then show how understanding it changes what they notice. We are interested in clear, evergreen pieces that can be useful beyond one match or result.
What to include
In a short proposal, give us a working title, the main question, the central explanation and why the subject merits its own piece. Mention the relevant format or context if the idea depends on one. Keep the proposed angle distinct from an existing article, and explain any specialist terms you expect to use.
How to send a pitch
Use the Contact page form and select the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication. Please send the idea rather than a complete article unless we have asked to see a draft.
